Frederick is the county seat of Frederick County, and it is home to many cozy B&B establishments. Frederick is the home of the Maryland Shakespeare Festival celebrating his work. The annual Great Frederick Fair is an annual country-western music celebration. If you are thinking about attending any of these wonderful family events, why not book a room in advance at a Frederick bed and breakfast or a Frederick inn. Possibly the oldest house in the City of Frederick is Schifferstadt, built in 1756 by German settler Joseph Brunner. It is now the Schifferstadt Architectural Museum. Carroll Creek runs through the town. Brewer's Alley Restaurant has some the best brews in the area. Firestone's Restaurant offers the perfect mix of amazing, interesting foods and beautiful atmosphere.
