Wampler House Bed and Breakfast - Bloomington, Indiana Wampler House Bed and Breakfast is nestled in the little village of Clear Creek. We are only 10 minutes from the campus of Indiana University, yet surrounded by a quiet neighborhood. Whether you are taking a vacation, weekend getaway, honeymoon, anniversary or business trip, Wampler House is the perfect place to stay. All rooms have soft pillow top mattresses, gas log fireplaces, cable TV/VCR, telephones, and private baths with showers. Smoking is allowed on the balconies and porches only.

A full scrumptious breakfast is served each morning in the morning room, formal dining room or outside on the porch. A certified massage therapist has a room for clients located at the B&B. You can schedule a facial, foot or full body massage whenever you make your reservation. We are handicap accessible and offer a smoke-free environment inside the B&B.

Guestrooms Descriptions
Jamison Room features a balcony on the first floor and a queen-sized bed.
Bender Room handicap accessible with wide doorways, a balcony, queen-sized bed and large 5-foot shower in the bath.
Dillman Room/Suite features a queen-sized canopy bed adjoining the library and both can be rented as a suite.
Williams Room features a white Battenberg and rose décor with queen-sized brass bed and huge bathroom with garden Jacuzzi tub.
Barrett Room offers a king-sized bed that converts to twins when needed and a large bathroom with a garden Jacuzzi tub.
Mathers Room features a Jacuzzi garden tub and 4-foot wide shower.
Finley offers a king-sized bed, balcony and luxurious bath with a large Jacuzzi tub.
William G. Wampler Suite spacious suite with queen-sized sleigh bed, sitting area, balcony, and large Jacuzzi.

Directions

From downtown Bloomington:

  • Drive south on College Street taking a slight turn left into S. Walnut Street.
  • Keep going south until S Walnut turns into S Old IN-37.
  • Turn right onto W Gordon Pike.
  • Turn left onto S Rogers Street. Total distance is 4.33 miles.
